This was a very uneventful day because I slept all day. I went to bed at 9 am and woke up for a bit around 4, and then went back to bed till 7:30. Not much can happen when you are keeping those hours during the day. The thing that I hate about that is that I’m still tired. The more sleep I get, the more my body wants. Now I’m going into work tired even though I slept all day.

Supper was a groundbreaking event here. I cooked Hamburger Helper. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, no Chef Boyardee. No grilled cheese sandwiches. No minute steaks. No going to a fast food restaurant or ordering pizza. Something that actually required standing at the stove and cooking. First time in the 3 1/2 years I’ve been in the apartment.

The one good thing that came out of all the sleep today was that I think I have finally gotten out of my funk about wanting to quit wrestling. I will not let them win that easily. I may hate their existence and wish harm upon them, but they will not force me to walk away from something I have put my blood, sweat, and tears into. I can ignore them and have nothing to do with them. If they don’t like it, I can do something about it.

Well, the more I write, the more I think maybe this day wasn’t wasted sleeping.

Well, it is time to go off to work.
