I wasn’t expecting much when I saw this on the shelf in Walmart because what could Old El Paso do to chicken noodle soup that was different than the other cans of chicken noodle soup out there? I was pleasantly surprised, I thought their recipe was very tasty. The jalapeño was much stronger than expected, not spicy strong as it was pretty mild, but the actual taste of the pepper was prevalent. I like that chicken stock doesn’t need to be added, but it could be if you wanted to make more of the can. The chicken chunks were nice and big. I like the calorie count, 200 calories for a whole can is wonderful and on par with other healthy soups. I have purchased this soup again and I would recommend it (besides, it’s btfe!).
