Brett Jackson proves “he’d run through a wall” for the #Cubs during their win over the #Pirates last night. It is plays like this when the season is more or less over that gives Cubs fans hope for the future. Brett Jackson going all out to make a play and showing his teammates that he is willing to go that extra mile for the team.

I’m excited to see what Jackson, Castro, Rizzo, Soler and the rest of the young guns can accomplish in the next several years as they try to bring a World Series championship to the north side. It will also be intriguing to see what free agents that Theo Epstein and Jed Hoyer bring in to mix with the young guys. I don’t know if they will be successful but I’m anxious to watch them try and that is really all I can ask for as a fan.
