I was dreading the Morris vs. Plainfield North game on Friday October 13th.  Morris vs. Dan Darlington and how that would be tugging at my heartstrings.

Well it is no longer a problem.  Last night saw Dan Darlington resign as head football coach from Plainfield North after being suspended for the rest of the season by the IHSA for recruiting violations after being turned in by the superintendent.  Crushing news to see my old football coach have this happen to him but at least I won’t have to watch him coach against Morris now.  I guess that will be the silver lining to the situation.

I’m heading up to DeKalb tonight to visit Stacy and I have a few things to get done before that.  I really should get to it.
