I am heading out to Philadelphia later tonight with Ian and Mickie.  It has been a whirlwind tour of the midwest the last week with all the trips back and forth between Iowa, Morris and Louisville.  I have Louisville to Philly to Louisville to Indianapolis to Morris to round out the week.

Saturday will be the next chance for me to see Stacy.  I can’t wait.  It will take forever but it will be worth the wait.  I used to think that I had to be angry in order to make it through the day but I guess it is like the end of Monsters Inc (yes I like Disney movies).  Laughter generates a lot more energy than screams of fear.  Well I operate much better on happiness than anger.  I’m much more pleasant to be around.  The world is a better place because it doesn’t have me plotting its destruction.  Every time the song “Brand New Girlfriend” comes on the radio, Ian watches me sing along and makes some comments.  He doesn’t like the song at all but he gets a kick out of messing with me while it is on.  Well it doesn’t bother me which makes it all the better cause usually I don’t take kindly to being picked on or joked about but there has been a lot of it here lately and it doesn’t bother me at all.  I don’t suggest those that aren’t my best friends trying to do it however!

It is basically almost 13 years in the making and it is has been a long trip to get here but it was well worth the wait.  I feel like an episode of Quantum Leap.  I have righted the wrong from way back when…late 1993 to early 1994 to be exact.  I won’t say that i worked non stop at it over the 13 years but it was a work in progress on several occassions over those years.  Finally everything worked out.  Who would have ever thought that I would be a happy individual while Morris is currently 1-2 on the season with the two losses being 37-0 and 29-0?

James Christopher is just as cute as ever as well and well I guess I should go help Mickie watch over him instead of writing about my happiness on here.  That is what a good Godfather would do!

The pictures from the zoo and such will come when I’m at home next week and actually have time to work on it.
