I watched the season finale of season two of Quantum Leap last night. The show has made me mad. I will set up the scenario…Sam leaps into a detective in San Diego. Al tells him that his mission is to keep this woman from giving up on her husband who is a POW and alive in Vietnam. She gives up hope and remarries and when the POW comes home, his heart is broken to find out that his true love is gone and that was what had kept him alive in the prison camp was his love for his wife and wanting to return to her. Sam finds out that it is Al’s wife and tells Al that he can’t do it because they aren’t supposed to change their own lives. He saves his detective partner’s life and refuses to save Al’s marriage. I call bullshit. Earlier in season two, Sam leaps into the college where his true love was at. She leaves Sam at the alter years later because her dad left her mom and her when she was a little girl and she is afraid that any man she marries will do the same. Al tried telling Sam that he couldn’t give him the information of where her father was because they weren’t supposed to change their own lives. Al caves and gives him the information and Al even gets fired for doing it and they show him getting dragged out by the other people involved in the project. He has to blackmail the other head guy to get him to rehire him. Sam reunites her with her dad but they never say whether or not it leads to them getting married in the future. Still…Al helps Sam try to change his life but Sam won’t do the same. What the hell kind of friend is that.? I’m glad that I fell ass backwards into getting Dallas Season 5 yesterday because I’m not too eager to watch Season 3 of QL now. Yes I know…its a television show so I shouldn’t take it so seriously.

The first part of The Wonderpets this morning was very disappointing. They were singing in rap to save a tree. What the fck. The songs are the catchy part of the show and they start doing rap. So disappointing. The next part of the episode with them saving a baby elephant was much better though cause they were back to normal song.
