Well I watched football this past weekend and I am sad to see that the UK Wildcats are going to be the same team as usual. Poor defense. Poor offense. Lots of losses. Lorenzen looked great at times but they won’t win many games if he has to run 15 yards per play to scramble away from the rush. They made a big comeback and I thought they were going to pull it out but the UK defense forgot how to stop the run again and again and again. U of L ran up the score by calling time out at the end and running one last play. Hopefully UK will remember that for next year.

Speaking of next year, the Cubs are still tugging at the heartstrings and trying to make a believer out of me. Tremendous comeback today from a 6-0 deficit to first place St. Louis. 3 of 4 so far and should be 4 of 4 if the rookie umpire hadn’t screwed up last night. Hopefully this is the year it all comes together. My dad never got to see it happen so I hope that I can experience it for the both of us.

Shaina is watching House of 1,000 Corpses with her friend Amy. I believe she is going to visit Kelly tomorrow before her move to Milwaukee. I guess she’ll have a good week getting to spend time with her friends instead of being couped up here with me all the time.

Shaina doesn’t want me hunting for a second job just yet so that search is being put on hold.
