I see it has been 3 weeks since I have updated this thing.  I just haven’t been in a blogging mood of late.  I have been surviving on Facebook status updates and Twitter.  Mostly on Facebook status updates.  You can follow me on twitter though.  Livejournal and myspace have just become an afterthought anymore in my daily routines.

Stacy and I were unable to go on our trip to Nashville this weekend due to my car being a pile of junk.  I’ve had nothing but problems with it since I got it.  Seriously.  The right side windshield wiper has stopped working twice.  I was having all kinds of problems with the power adapter and fuses and wiring for my car stereo.  Now I’ve got to fix the brakes and the car has been giving me problems on a couple of different occasions this week with not starting.  I have never had any luck with used cars.  My Grand Am…the radiator cracked the second day I had the car and needed to be towed back to the dealer and fixed.  I then had an accident in it a few months after I got it.  It lasted maybe 2 years before I got rid of it.  My Malibu lasted a year before it got totaled and I had problems with it leading up to that too.  Now the Impala is the same way.  My two new cars that I have had…A Jeep Cherokee and A Honda Accord each lasted 4 years and a total of 400,000 miles between the two of them.  The Impala goes in to the mechanic on Tuesday to try to figure out what is going on with the not starting issue and to get the brakes fixed.

One of my many goals on the year is to get a NEW car.  I might go back to the Honda Accord since I loved that car.  I might consider a NEW Impala.  I’m not sure yet.  Just something different and more reliable.

Stacy and I have a HUGE trip coming up at the end of May.  I am going to get to take a tour of the ESPN headquarters out in Bristol, CT.  We are going to take in all of New England since I haven’t been to any of those states yet and I want to get to every state.  That is on my bucket list.  We are going to do NYC, Stamford & Bristol, CT (I’m going to moon Titan Towers), Boston, Maine, Ben & Jerry’s and Niagra Falls on the trip.  Stacy doesn’t have a passport so no Canada on the trip.  I will blog that trip and post tons of pictures so be forewarned.

The other big trip on the horizon is Las Vegas in December.  I’ll have more on this trip as details get finalized and plans are made.   I’m excited and looking forward to it.
