I was bored and had absolutely nothing to do on a Saturday night. I decided that I would go ahead and watch Godfather and get a head count for the number of enemies that get killed while the baptism is going on at the church. The usual readers of this LJ know the reason why it is important.
Here is the headcount that I came up with while watching. During the baptism, 8-10 people get whacked. 2 get it immediately afterward. Therefore, we are looking at 10-12 people that can get put on the list. It is hard to get the exact number because one of the scenes involves 3 people in an elevator. You see the three people in the elevator as the door opens and Clemenza fires 2 rounds into the elevator with a shotgun. You never see the end result to see if 1,2 or all 3 get it in the elevator. It is possible that one of the shots took out two or he could have just hit one guy twice or taken two of the three. Of course, the actual number that was on the list was 7…Carlo for setting up Sonny to be killed, Tessio for treason, the heads of the other 4 Families for their roles in the death of Sonny and the shooting of Don Vito and Moe Green for refusing to sell the casinos. I guess the others that got it were just in the wrong place at the wrong time.
In other news, I don’t have a good feeling about the Bears tomorrow and if they do win, I definitely don’t like their chances in Seattle next week. I think I may have blown the run of good luck by getting greedy the other day. I may have swung the momentum back in the other direction but at least it was a helluva run and perhaps the Bears will prove me wrong.
Since it is 9:15 and I have nothing to do and it doesn’t appear that there is 4 episodes of the Shield on tonight, I shall go to bed.
Until next time…here is a picture of what I hope Jimmy Jacobs looks like after the cage match this coming Friday night against Bull. Of course, hopefully he actually looks worse than this…
