I purchased the SOONSUN 5X Macro Lens Filter Compatible with GoPro Hero 13 12 11 10 9 8 Black, HD Glass Close-Up Macro Lens for Official Waterproof Housing, Scuba Diving Underwater & Land Photography from Amazon and it was delivered in a timely fashion. This is an HD Underwater 5X Macro lens compatible with several versions of the GoPro Hero. This lens is made to snap onto the underwater waterproof housing. It should be noted that the lens itself can’t be attached to the main camera and the underwater housing needs to be a version that has the ability to attach lenses to it. Each lens just snaps onto the underwater housing to use. I haven’t tested how long this lens will last since I just received them, but the concern is, with a snap on lens, it might wear quicker over time. Each lens attaches and detaches with no issue right now though. The lens is durable, easy to handle, and pretty thin. It also comes with a cleaning cloth and safety tether. This lens is a fantastic way to control the light in the images and add clarity to the images by the method of enlarging them. I am excited to test out the power of a macro lens underwater. I would purchase this item again if needed and I would recommend this item to my family. amazon listing.
