I purchased the BAYFUN Cat Scratch Furniture Protector,2 PCS Self-Adhesive Cat Scratching Mats, Trimmable DIY Carpet for Couches, Cat Trees and Door, Scratching Post Tower Replacement Pads(39.4″x15.8″, Gray) from Amazon and it arrived quickly. Sadly, I was more disappointed by the cat scratch furniture protector than I was pleased. I still gave it 4 out of 5 stars because the product does what it was promised to do. Prior to receiving this product, we had used Alien Tape on our couch to keep away the cats. However, the Alien Tape didn’t stick well on the most recent couch that we had purchased. The cat scratch furniture protector fabric is thick enough to satisfy a good scratch. As with the Alien Tape, the tape that was provided with the fabric to help hold it on didn’t stick very well to the couch. There were curled pins that were also provided to screw into and hold the fabric. They held the fabric up fine, although I wish there were more pins included with the package. It didn’t take very long to secure the fabric to the couch. The package does include two fabric scratch protectors for each back corner of the couch. The cats have stayed away mostly from the cat scratch pad, and the fabric pad itself doesn’t look horrible. It does look better than having scratched-up furniture. If I did purchase this product again, I would make sure to purchase some additional curled pins to help secure it. I would also mention this product to family if needed. amazon listing.
