It’s been a long, drawn out battle and many quarters have been lost.
Brave, arcade soldiers have given hours of their time to take down these blocky creatures, one at a time, to protect the borders of both Earth and Space.
Of course, we also owe a debt of gratitude to our allies in this fight, the Japanese, for developing the technology that lines up the enemy in neat little rows.
The war is far from over, but we’re winning and the future looks hopeful.
“Space Invaders Flag” shows a classic U.S. Flag with stars replaced with pixelated aliens and a spaceship shooting at them. Brings a tear to my eye.
