I feel like I’ve been transported to my nightmare of 2002 where I had no medications or doctors anymore. At least I have a court date now. #tweet
I guess I can be thankful the generic synthroid is reasonably priced at least even tho it’s inferior to the brand, I’ll take what I can get.

Yesterday I went to the Walgreens in morris and had to pay out of pocket for generic synthroid since Medicare cut me off at the first of the month. It’s really depressing since my thyroid went out of sync and is hypo now. My body responds to the brand but not the generic as well. I need to talk to the doctor about it, but I can’t since uch won’t take an appt without insurance and so I will have to deal with what I can get for now. I feel like I’m back in my 2002 nightmare of no doctors and no insurance (yes yes I know about obamacare but it doesn’t cover everything I need and I’m not to that point yet since I am still fighting social security). I have a court date now on November the 4th. The lawyer is available. Five years ago it took a month or so to find out the results of the hearing, but social security was backed up at the time. Every few months since I’ve changed from gleevec to sprycel my thyroid has gone out of sync. I’m worried about what happens if the nightmare happens and social security denies me and I can’t find a new doctor that can deal with the sprycel and the synthroid combined. sigh. I can’t think about that tho. Uch called me today. I had to cancel my gp appt on thursday since the benefits aren’t working. I cried a little when I the clerk said she couldn’t even schedule the appointment. I knew she would say that but it was still sad when I heard it out loud.
