Josh Donaldson dives over tarp for catch

Josh Donaldson makes one of the best catches of the year in MLB by diving over the tarp, crashing into the wall and holding on to the ball.  Donaldson has been a major part of the Athletics successful season.  His WAR of 6.1 is just unreal.  If it weren’t for the seasons that Miguel Cabrera and Crush Davis are having for the Tigers and Orioles respectively, Donaldson would be getting strong consideration in the AL MVP talk.  .293 batting average.  20 HRs.  80 RBI.  .370 OBP.  .857 OPS.  Plus making defensive plays like this.  At 27 years old, the Athletics are definitely going to get a lot more out of Donaldson than what the Cubs got out of Rich Harden.  More proof that Jim Hendry should have only traded with the Pirates as a GM.  Thankfully, I don’t think Donaldson is going to be SO GOOD that Cubs fans forget about the Brock for Broglio trade.  Sigh.
