I purchased the ARTIGIANI DEI SAPORI – Whole Calabrian Chili Peppers In Oil , 9.8 oz, Spicy Hot, Grown and Packed in Calabria Italy from Amazon and it was delivered in a timely fashion. I enjoy the taste of the ARTIGIANI DEI SAPORI – Whole Calabrian Chili Peppers In Oil. They are sweet, rich, a nice round size, and colorful. The listing states that these peppers are spicy hot. I didn’t find them hot at all, not even the mild hotness of a giardiniera. I could still taste the seeds when I bit into them, but there wasn’t any kick to it like you might expect out of something labeled spicy. It tasted like a pepper. It doesn’t say hot on the label of the peppers though. These peppers are packed in oil rather than water. The oil lends itself to the taste of the peppers. I really enjoy the size and shape of the peppers. They are like the size of a small cherry tomato rather than a long, lean shape like I would expect. The stems are still on the peppers, but they’ve soaked enough that the stems are nice, soft, and edible. I thought that they had a good quality to them and would pair well with some pasta or any vegetable dish. I do think this product is deserving of the Amazon’s Choice designation. I would purchase this item again if needed and I would recommend this item to my family. amazon listing.
