I purchased the OAKWOOMA Crochet Kit for Beginners , Easy Arts and Crafts Knitting & Crochet Coaster Kit with Step-by-Step Video Tutorials, Crochet Starter Kits for Adults, Teens, Kids (Mandala) from Amazon and it was delivered in a timely fashion. This is a beginning level mandala or “granny circle” crochet kit. In the defense of this kit the granny square or circle is one of the easiest patterns to make in crochet. This is a nice kit since it’s not a large one and shouldn’t take a lot of time to complete giving the user a quicker sense of satisfaction rather than just purchasing yarn. This kit contains most everything one would need to complete a crochet circle. There’s four colors of yarn. The yarn is of decent quality and nice colors. There’s also a crochet hook, stitch makers, yarn needle, and instructions. The instruction book contains a link to a YouTube channel with an instructional video on how to make the coasters. The videos could be broken down into shorter segments so they are more easily digestible. If you want to come back to the video or only want instructions on a certain part it’s harder to find that section in a larger video. The instructions do have a diagram that breaks down the pattern instructions but beyond that that is the only picture. If you don’t know how to make the stitch mentioned or need a refresher then you have to find it somewhere in the 50 min video on the YouTube channel. A better video breakdown would be a short video of how to do each stitch. Then a video on creating the pattern for the mandala. I would still recommend this kit for beginners since it doesn’t get much simpler of a pattern for crochet than this design. It’s also great for any level since a kit like this is great for getting a project done when you don’t want to go out and have to purchase all the supplies separately. I would purchase this item again if needed and I would recommend this item to my family. amazon listing.
