I purchased the ZiChengXin Crochet Kit for Beginners – 10 Hairpins w/Video Tutorials, 40% Extra Yarn & Hook | DIY Craft Gift for Adults, Kids, Women, Teens from Amazon and it was delivered in a timely fashion. This crochet kit has everything needed (minus a glue gun) to make ten hair clips. It seems like it is a suitable kit for a beginner. It wouldn’t take as long to make a hair clip as it would some other project, so there is some sense of achievement possible in a short amount of time. The yarn included is thinner and more delicate than some of the blanket type yarns, but it fits for hair clips. There are two booklets with the hair clip design instructions in it. These books don’t have a lot of instructional pictures in them. Just the instructions mostly. There is also an instructional booklet that demonstrates all the different stitches. The instructional booklet does have pictures along with the instructions. There is also a qr code to scan that would lead a person to a YouTube page if you need more instructions on how to make the stitches. This kit looks like it provides a nice fun project for anyone who wants to crochet something with a pattern and have all the materials provided for them. It would be great for beginners and advanced levels as well. I would purchase this item again if needed and I would recommend it to my family. amazon listing.
