I looked for the Brami Spaghetti Protein Pasta at Wal-Mart and found it right away. “I was a little surprised by this pasta. I didn’t have high expectations because I’ve had other protein pastas. My husband, who is a super picky eater, actually wanted to try this pasta with me which he usually doesn’t do. He favors the typical pasta over anything with higher protein/fiber. He ate it and thought it was pretty good. He said that he would eat it again if we purchased it again which, again, usually isn’t the response. He didn’t want to change from the usual pasta, but he did agree to put it in the rotation. Prior to cooking, the exterior of the pasta was rougher than the typical pasta. The color was also a brown rather than tan or cream found in competitors. It cooked the same as regular pasta, same cook time, same prep. Some protein pastas leave like a bubbly film after cooking, but other than a slight coloration of the water (the water turned a little orange after cooking), I didn’t notice any residual film. It was made with a tomato sauce and tasted very similar to the product we usually purchase. I would consider purchasing this product again, especially after the go-ahead from my husband. This pasta really is better for blood sugar levels, but it’s the price of quality pastas vs the cheap brands that get us. I would recommend this pasta to my family.”
