I purchased the Alfrufy 31” Stove Top Shelf , Over the Stove Spice Rack, Wood Space Saving Seasoning Shelf, Kitchen Storage Stand (Black) from Amazon and it was delivered in a timely fashion. I want to state for the record that I try very hard as a reviewer to give most products decent scores for the reviews. It’s not easy being a seller. The product has to have major design flaws for me to dock stars in the review. This product actually ended up being unusable. I couldn’t put it together because they didn’t send the correct parts, and product support wasn’t offered for this product to try and get replacement parts.
Minor issues: All of the screws had some sort of black dirt or paint, or residue on them. My hands were filthy after trying to connect the pieces together. In addition, there were no instructions included with the pieces. I had to look at the listing to see how to put it together. It’s not a complicated set with a bunch of parts, so I probably could have figured it out even without it being on the listing. However, it makes things a lot easier to have directions on a piece of paper, so I don’t have to connect to the internet for instructions.
Major issues: The set had two side pieces that were either two lefts or two rights. They should have given me one of each. The side pieces are supposed to be mirror opposites, and instead, they were identical. Another issue was the hole placement on each of the shelf lips. The side holes on each lip were not the same height. If the screws were inserted where the holes are placed, it would make the lips crooked and not lined up with the side pieces. The holes on the side of the lip didn’t line up with the side pieces anyway, even if the lip was leveled properly.
Even if the assembly issues were corrected, I was disappointed by the quality of this item. The edges of the shelves were not smooth if the wood was exposed. The screw holes were not drilled with care. It looked cheap and mass-produced. I highly doubt it would support 20 lbs as the listing claimed, even if it was put together properly. I wouldn’t even consider purchasing this product again, let alone recommending it to my family. amazon listing.
