The size of the mahjong mat is a standard card table size. It has a nice quality to it. The mat is soft and features soothing pastel colors. There is a rubber backing creating a non-skid surface. The mahjong mat comes with a case to roll it, but if you decide to fold it instead, the wrinkles seem to lie flat. This mahjong mat was folded when it was delivered, and there are no wrinkles with any staying power. The design is not too busy. It allows for tile visibility. If a drink were accidentally spilled on it, it would be easy to clean up. I would purchase this product again if needed and would recommend it to family. amazon listing.
