Alshon Jeffery has made several unreal catches this season and I rave about them every week when they happen.  I already blogged about last night’s HOLY $#!% moment but I’ve found better views of it to show just how amazing it really was.  As a matter of fact, I wouldn’t be a bit surprised to hear today that McCown was really just trying to throw it away but in a spot where Alshon Jeffery might have been able to get it too.  Take a look at this play from a couple of different angles:

I was at a sports bar with my wife and a friend watching the game when this play happened.  Without hesitation, I looked to my wife and said “if it were possible, I would have Alshon Jeffery’s babies.”  I may have only been half kidding.  I loved it when the Bears picked him in the 2nd round of the 2012 NFL draft.  As an SEC football fan and Kentucky Wildcats alum, I had seen a lot of Alshon at South Carolina and saw what he was capable of doing against bad defenses and with mediocre quarterbacks.  We are now seeing what he can do with good quarterback play and against bad defenses.  It’s a beautiful sight to Chicago Bears fans that have never seen a WR tandem like Brandon Marshall and Jeffery before.  I am going to enjoy every second of it while it lasts because it may never happen again in my lifetime.

Alshon has now made it three weeks in a row with a crazy catch for a TD.  This time it was the Cleveland Browns that were victimized.
