A fan ran onto the field in his underwear during last night’s Tampa Bay Rays vs. Texas Rangers game.  At Wrigley Field, we call that a 10-88 (any fan running onto the field…we don’t have a special code for those that do it in their underwear).

If you run onto the field during a game at Wrigley Field, it is a FELONY.  I would highly advise against it.  Our field guards will kick the ever loving shit out of you (as you would deserve for being a piece of shit and disrupting the game) and they would have every right to.  The precedent has been set…they have to assume the worst and that you are trying to hurt someone or damage the field.  That means you are fair game for an ass whipping.  An ass whipping that the field guards have been wanting to deliver every single day.  Don’t be the one that lets them realize their dream.  It isn’t worth the beatdown and the time in jail and the fine and HAVING A FELONY ON YOUR RECORD.  Good luck finding a decent job with that on your resume.

So don’t be a douche.  Stay in your God damned seat and just have another beer whenever the thought crossing your peanut sized brain that running onto the field would be a good idea.
