Today is going to be a rough day. I can feel it already. My cousin Chuckie called me last night wanting to know where he could find me at the Morris vs. Joliet Catholic game tonight. I still know that I am doing the right thing by not going. My world couldn’t take watching a mercy rule beatdown being put on the beloved for the first time in school history. There are just way too many important players out with injury to even put up a fight in this game. Of course, I hope that I am as wrong as can be but my gut just tells me that this season is going to be ugly. I told my cousin about the date for the game against Coach Darlington in Plainfield on October 13th. Friday the 13th and Morris plays Coach Darlington. I couldn’t think of any more fitting date for that first matchup to take place. Since that is the night before the Indy anniversary show, I should be able to attend the game. My heart will be torn in two that night and I won’t know what to do. I’ll probably spend half the night on one side of the field and the other half on the other side. A lot of Morris fans will feel like a child going through an ackward divorce that night and having to split the holidays between your parents. It will be really rough next year when the game is in Morris. My fcking asshole cousin will be retired as superintedent by that time so hopefully they will do something nice for Darlington to welcome him back to the field. I think it would be deserving.

I won’t have anyone checking the scores for me tonight. My attention will be on the wrestling show. Stacy is supposed to show up tonight so hopefullly I won’t have a lot of errands to run during the show. I’ll try to get everything done before hand. Hopefully she has a good time. She hasn’t watched wrestling in about 10 years so we’ll see how that goes.

I’ve printed up 200 of the frequent buyer cards for tonight. Hopefully it isn’t enough! I have raffle tickets to hand out for the lottery drawing. I am very intrigued by some of the possible matchups. I hope the fans draw some good matches.

Well I have wasted enough time before getting the rest of the stuff done for today.

I’ll update later this weekend with thoughts on the show, the concert tomorrow and other things.
