I’m a Godfather…edited to add a 2005 survey stolen from Meg

I don’t want to tie up the phone lines very long here at Ian’s but I just wanted to put a quick update on here to let everyone know that I am a Godfather now.

Patti gave birth to James Christopher on December 7, 2005 at 9:00 pm eastern time. James Christopher weighed 9 pounds 6 ounces and was 22 inches long.

I got to hold him and I must say that I was beaming from ear to ear. One of the greatest thrills of my life was to hold my Godson and know that he is a namesake to me and to our dear friend Chris Candido. They have decided to make Mickie the Godmother.

I will have so many more thoughts on this later when I do a full update. I just had to get on here and post this.

Maniwa took pictures tonight…hopefully he can get them online shortly or sometime tomorrow…I took several pics with a disposable camera. I think I broke my digital camera at the Brad Paisley, Sara Evans, Sugarland concert on Sunday that we went to…I’ll have to wait until I get home to find out. I will get a picture cd with the disposable camera pics so I can put them on here.

Good day.

Here is a survey stolen from Meg on myspace. It’s been awhile since I’ve done surveys on here so deal with it.

40 questions about 2005.

1) Was 2005 a good year for you?
January to November 2005 was the worst 11 months of my life. I have already done a live journal going over this so I won’t go into it again. November to now has just been fantastic. Morris beats Joliet Catholic. Morris wins state championship. Bears def. Packers in Chicago for the first time since I was in high school. I’m a godfather. Things are going as great as they will ever go for me. This is my peak. I’m allowing myself to enjoy it which is amazing in itself.

Holding James Christopher for the first time

Well I could pick any of the countless rejections from Mickie but lets just focus on the ones caught on camera because the rest I can deny…There was the skirt wearing incident and being forced to stand in front of 200+ people in my underwear before putting on the skirt “Drop trou now Fannin!” Damn that Ryan Boz!!!! There was also the failed seranading/poem reading that resulted in me getting kicked in the face at Revenge Served Cold

Be a great Godfather for James Christopher and instead of dwelling on the zero chance of Happiness Plan A coming to fruition and causing that to not let me enjoy the minor levels of happiness that occur…do what I’ve done since November…let the minor events that lead to minor happiness carry me through to the next minor event and that keeps me in a good mood 73% of the time which is better than 1% of the time.
