Today was a very lazy day around the Casa de Fannin. Then again, when is it not??? I didn’t even get out of my pajamas and the only time I left the house was to walk to the mailbox. My back is still sore but not as bad as it was on Saturday.

I decided to lounge on the love seat in the living room most of the day and watch DVDs. The first one that I watched was Mr. & Mrs. Smith. Fusion gave me this DVD at KOTDM and I just never got around to watching it before today. My grandma left to go visit her sister at the nursing home so I had the house to myself and figured I could watch it without grandma getting mad that I wasn’t in the kitchen watching television with her. Fusion got his copy of this movie early as a promotional release. It had “property of 20th Century Fox Publicity department” written on the bottom of the screen the entire movie. That took some getting used to but it certainly didn’t ruin the movie for me. I was pleased with the movie. I’m not huge on Angelina Jolie and since I like Jennifer Aniston, I’m not a big fan of Brad Pitt these days. That being said, it was a good movie. They built up the plot and developed the characters. They saved the majority of the high spots for the finish of the movie so they had some good pyschology and a great build to the finish. I was worried it was going to be like “Speed” and be non stop high spots and just a disaster of a movie to watch. They threw in some comedy and I liked the parts with Vince Vaughn. Of course, I thought the irony was classic in the fact that Brad and Angelina are married in the movie and that Vince Vaughn is in it…perhaps they can make a Mr. & Mrs. Smith 2 and have Jennifer Aniston play Vince Vaughn’s wife and they can have a tag team grudge match as hired assassins trying to kill each other.

Ever the proponent of equal time, I then finished watching my DVD of season 10 of Friends. I had seen a few of the episodes from the beginning of the season and still hadn’t watched the finale. I thought it was a great run of episodes. I liked the finale. I hated the last episode of Everybody Loves Raymond because they didn’t do anything to give the show closure. You definitely knew that this was the end of Friends. They had the ending just the way it should have been. I was very unhappy with the fact that Dakota Fanning made an appearance. I hate that little girl and all her relatives. Damn them for having a “g” on the end of their name and making people think that one goes on the end of my name. GGGGGGGGGGGGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. Wal-Mart still has Season’s 1 and 2 for sale for $20 so I will be getting those soon (hell maybe even tomorrow) and then slowly accumulate the other seasons as well.
