You’ve Got Mail and Spider Man 2

Tonight I am watching You’ve Got Mail. Yes I will admit it. I like the movie. Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan work well together. It is one of the few movies I have ever seen where they build it enough to make me actual root for the happy ending. I’m losing it. I don’t know where I went wrong but somewhere I did. The hater of happy endings and the angriest man in the world does indeed root for the good guys every great once in a while. Keep that between the two of you that read this thing.

I got the opportunity to watch Spider Man 2 the other day with “Rachel” and “Eric.” It had the potential to be one of the greatest movies of all time. They had the perfect ending all set up and then decided to go the cheesy finish route. I was highly disappointed. I loved that the super hero had self doubt and was unsure of himself and it caused him to lose his power. I loved that he actually stood by and watched stuff happen without helping out. I loved that he delivered the big speech of how he was stuck with who he was and couldn’t have the ONE THING that he wanted most in life. Then they had to go and screw it up. Yes I hate it when people have it better than me. OK. I’m back now.

Tomorrow is Bloomington, Indiana and then Valparaiso, Indiana is the day after that. I shall update this weekend with happenings from the show. I am meeting Steve Stone and couple other guys at the building in Highland to ride the rest of the way.

I watched alot of the presidential stuff on television today. I have to make it to Washington DC one of these days just to sight see all the stuff. I think it would be so much fun and I can’t believe that I haven’t gone yet.

I also must get to Dallas, Texas so I can visit Southfork Ranch.

I also need to get to Boston to visit the bar that Cheers was based on and to catch a game at Fenway Park before it is torn down.

I was going to go to Wal-Mart today to get the John Michael Montgomery and Aaron Tippin cds. I was too lazy. I didn’t even leave the house. Maybe I shall pick them up on the way out of town tomorrow.

Good Day.
