Morris Football
Morris defeated Streator last night 42-14 to advance to the second round of the class 5A playoffs. The Morris QB passed for 291 yards…in the first half. They play Hillcrest next week in the second round. I have never heard of Hillcrest so I don’t know what to expect out of them. If Morris wins, it is the quarterfinal showdown with the devil itself…Joliet Catholic. Unfortunately, that is the same weekend as the IWA anniversary shows in Scottsburg and Oolitic. Perhaps if it is an afternoon game, I can squeeze it in.
Shaina’s dog back home in Elizabeth had puppies so it looks like we will soon own a puppy here at the apartment.
That about sums up the recent happenings. Good Day.
